Milton Surgery rolled out our text messaging service on Monday 29th August 2022.
This service will provide helpful reminders for nurse appointments, as well as enable us to contact you quickly to ask you to call us.
We will also communicate information re: closure, known telephone issues etc.
Our patients were sent a text in June and July 2022 asking for a reply to consent or to decline consent. We then sent a follow up ‘opt out’ text to those who did not reply on 21/07/2022. If you did not ‘opt out’ it will be assumed you are comfortable to receive texts from the surgery, if this is not the case please let us know by calling 0131 549 7300.
Please note the surgery has sent these messages and it is not a scam.
