Welcome to Milton Surgery

Milton Surgery is a leading medical practice with five GP Partners and a team of GP Associates.

Additionally, the surgery has a dedicated team of Nurses, Health Care Assistants and other community care services. We also offer treatment for minor injuries, operate several specialist clinics and are innovative in our provision of primary care.

We have a dedicated team of medical receptionists with a wealth of experience in providing excellent levels of patient service. Further duties are carried out by our administrative staff, led by the Practice Manager and Assistant Practice Manager.

The GP’s and their associates provide outstanding primary healthcare to around 8000 patients, across a large area from the East of Edinburgh to Meadowbank and Willowbrae areas in the West of the City.

Appointments

The surgery is open for appointments Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 6.00pm. Please note that the surgery closes every day from 1pm to 2pm for staff training.

The surgery is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Pre-booked appointments for doctors are allocated by the doctors through our triage system. Please see the appointments page or phone reception for more information. Please note that the phone lines are extremely busy from 8am to 10am. If your call is not to speak to a GP or book an appointment with a nurse, you may wish to phone later in the day when the phone lines are quieter.

Appointments with a Nurse or Health Care Assistant can still be booked by phoning the surgery.
