Nurses and Health Visitors

Practice Nurses

Milton Surgery has a team of qualified and dedicated Practice Nurses.

Nurses are very happy to advise patients who have any concerns about health matters. It may of course be more appropriate to refer you to a doctor. Appointments are made at reception or by phone.

Nurse appointment times:
Monday – Friday 8.10am – 5.00pm (please note that these are generalised times and may not be available on all days)

Milton Surgery also has a qualified Healthcare Assistant who carries out phlebotomy tests (blood tests), blood pressure readings, and INR readings.Appointment times are:

Monday – Friday 8.10 am – 1.00pm (please note that these are generalised times and may not be available on all days)

Domiciliary Visits – these are carried out by our Advanced Nurse Practitioner. If you require a domiciliary visit for phlebotomy, blood pressure readings, INR readings, etc, please ensure that you tell the reception team that you are looking for an appointment to be carried out at your home. They will be able to advise regarding available appointment dates.

Please note that the reception staff will ask why you want an appointment with the nurse or healthcare assistant – this is to ensure that the correct amount of time is given for your consultation.
